Hi from Monte
Happy New Year! Already the 2014 WRC rally season is underway this week with Rally Monte Carlo. One of the oldest and most historic rally’s in our sports history and while we are here, we are unfortunately not competing. Nevertheless, we were here participating in recce earlier in the week, gathering experience of an event that we have not before done and getting a good set of pace notes written for when we hopefully return next year.
Monte is only 1 of 3 events that we have not done in the WRC, so gathering some experience here was vital. As you may have already seen after day 1 of the rally here, the conditions have been very tricky, catching out even the best. We hopefully will not be standing on the sidelines for too much longer. While here in Europe we are working hard to finalise the details around our program this year and it is still looking positive. Of course as soon as things become more clear we will let you know, but it is our full intention to be back in the WRC soon. Thanks everyone for the ongoing support and look forward to being back behind the wheel in the not too distant future. We will also have a few other new things in the pipeline this year which we will launch over the coming months.
