Jeff Ward and Murray O’Neil will contest the NZRC Open 2WD class a V8 Hillman Hunter.
There is a lot of history with this car. Steve Bond has had it for the last 40 years, and Brian Green prior to that. The mighty V8 Hillman Hunter is nicknamed “Mr Shifta” and has plenty of Carbon fibre and fibreglass modifications.
Jeff and Murray are entering for fun, with no delusions of grandeur, although 300BHP and 900kg’s this will be a fun car to watch, especially as Jeff only knows one way to drive – Flat out and sideways!
