Becky Ladbrook was announced as the MSNZ Photographer of the Year 2018 the annual MotorSport New Zealand’s awards night in Wellington on Saturday 26 May.
Becky’s line-up of rallying images from South Island events was selected as the winning portfolio with the judge saying it showed a lot of thought and creativity as well as good composition. “There was a sense of something happening, and, importantly, about to happen, portraying a real sense of what rallying is all about,” said the judge.
Becky (Fast Exposure Photography) has become well known in and around the South Island for her love of mixing the action of rally cars with the most amazing backdrops over the last few years. During this time she has time been a long time supporter and contributor to this website and the magazine. We couldn’t be happier for her to win this prestigious award !
