Gull rally challenge competitors Matt Jensen & Kieran Anstis finished 2nd in class and 8th overall at last weekend’s Rally Coromandel the 4th round of the New Zealand Rally Championship.
With brake & car setup issues the team struggled through the first 4 stages of the day but were able to keep in touching distance of the front runners. The issues were resolved at the 2nd service allowing the duo to have more confidence going into the final stages, with two 6th fastest stage times they moved into 8th Overall.
“we made a lot of new changes to our pace note system before the event that proved to be very positive, the conditions were tricky so to get the car home in one piece with a good result is a great feeling” Says Jensen.
The teams focus is now on the next round in October at Rally Waitomo
“We are really looking forward to the next event. We have a lot more speed to come.
