Keen to tackle NZRC Group A 2019

Dunedin’s Darren Keen will return take on his second season of NZRC Group A, after a horror 2018 season with the car going in to the off season damaged, followed by the loss of his mother at the end of the year Keen was ready to pull the pin on this season and have a year off, but late January saw that change when his father Greg asked him to run in the Classic 4WD rally together in their Mitsubishi Evolutions. That made the choice easy as not many people get to rally with their father let alone in the same class of cars.

Some quick calls were made co driver Sarah Faulkner who could not wait to be back in the car and all of the team’s supporters were eager to get on board.

Greg then spent the next months preparing the cars for the first event Rally Otago.

This season we have ongoing support from Magnum Group, Mag and Turbo Dunedin, Apet, DK Motors, 97 Motel Moray Place and New on board this year are McDonalds Dunedin and Southland, Maxxis tires, Provident Insurance and firmly have our eye on the big goal for the year the Group A trophy
