Last weekend’s Rallyday saw MS-RT launch an exclusive new vehicle – the R-Spec Edition Ford Transit which draws inspiration from the success of the 2017 Ford Fiesta WRC.
Celebrating the Fiesta’s successful season in the FIA World Rally Championship, a limited run of 50 vehicles will be produced that mirror the look and style of M-Sport’s top specification Fiesta.
Based on the five-seat Transit Custom DCIV, the R-Spec Edition comes complete with metallic paint, dual-slide load doors, rear-view tailgate camera, parking sensors, LED loadspace lighting and 240V power convertor.
Differing from the MS-RT Custom, the R-Spec Edition also includes an extended front diffuser as well as an elite interior with Sparco competition-inspired seats and blue seatbelts.
Lazer LED lights are incorporated into the front grill and there is a grey dash replacement, enhanced security with lock protection and exclusive sticker pack.
The R-Spec also includes an MS-RT big brake kit, intercooler and boost hoses as well as an MS-RT exhaust box which delivers an impressive engine sound.
An optional power box developed by Steinbauer is also available – providing 209 bhp and 486 Nms of torque – as is a 20” alloy upgrade.
