New Rally Magazine is being printed now.

The wait is nearly over, and I’m really excited that this is actually happening.  Although my last 5 years in the rally scene have been entirely online, I for one, dislike having to read webpages or PDF’s.  It also occurred to me that if I ever stopped running my site, all that history would be gone forever.  Hopefully my magazines will live on someone’s shelf long after my website has gone (there are no plans to stop the website!)  In fact, every edition has to be lodged with the National Library of New Zealand, meaning there will be a record of it kept forever.

With that in mind and 3 years of procrastinating about it, this year was my time to “put up or shut up” As a result, I have taken a leap of faith and gone all in and have converted what I do, into a proper magazine which has been printed professionally on quality paper.

I would love to hear from you if:

• You are a driver, co-driver, team member, organiser, or volunteer at any level in the sport that has an interesting behind the scenes story (past or present)
• Have something cool in your shed
• Your kids are just rally mad and have drawn pictures, written stories etc.
• You are a rally mad fan/spectator with a tale to tell, or a cracking photo to share

I also would love to hear from you if you would like to advertise within the publication.

I want the magazine to complement rallying in New Zealand and help the sport grow, so if there’s something you’d like to see in the magazine, let me know.

This has been a huge task for me, having to learn all sorts of new skills to go from a website to a magazine.  I couldn’t have done it without the help and support from my family, although the future of it sits with you.

You can buy online here, or go into Paper Plus stores and ask for it.  Not all are stocking it right away, but they all know how to get it into stock if you request it.
