Wayne Pittams is making a return to the NZ Rally Championship this year – but not in his Force Automotive prepared Subaru V10. Rather, it will be in a very cool Mk2 Escort.
Wayne started out in his rallying in a 2WD Datsun 1200, which by all accounts was “pretty trick”. He later moved into a 4WD in 1986 driving a Subaru Leone, and then a Lancia Delta Integrale.
2017 sees Wayne going back to his 2WD roots in this magnificent Mk2 Escort, although he is still looking for a co-driver to sit along side him for the season, and in his words, he’s “looking for a compatible co-driver who isn’t afraid of my scary shit out on the stages”! If this sound like you, then get in touch.
