Here’s a message from Peter Martin regarding the Silver Fern 2020
Hi Silver Fern Rally family
As we all face the uncertain weeks ahead, here is some good news from us. The NZ Silver Fern Rally is still planned for November 2020. The route has been plotted and the council road closure applications have been lodged, the road book is under construction, the traffic management and safety plans are being prepared, community group, local councils & residents are being notified.
While we move into the COVID-19 Level 4 isolation period here in New Zealand for the next four weeks, the office will still be manned by Peter Martin, but all the staff are working from home and will be available via email or mobile phones.
At this stage we appreciate that most of you will be thinking of your work and business staffing issues rather than the fun stuff, but we feel it is also very important for your own mental health to have something to look forward to as a release from the day to day grind of these uncertain times. A lot may change over the coming weeks, so we wish you all the best and we will keep you updated as more information comes to hand.
In light of the lock down we are experiencing, we have decided to delay the payment of the instalment due on 31 March 2020. When we have some clarity of the way ahead, we will advise the revised instalment options.
